Empowered Puberty - Mother & Daughter Workshop

Nurturing Confidence & Connection

The Empowered Puberty Workshop is a nurturing, confidence-building experience for girls aged 8-12 and their mothers or trusted caregivers. Together, you'll explore the journey of puberty through storytelling, movement, crafting, and education in a supportive, connected space.
Led by nutritionist Emily Gardem and yoga instructor Vanessa Negroni, this beautiful afternoon creates a space where your daughter feels seen, heard, and celebrated, and where you can show up as her steady guide with knowledge and confidence.
Puberty doesn't have to be awkward or overwhelming. It can be beautiful, grounding, and deeply empowering when we have the right tools, language, and support.
By raising girls who feel confident in their bodies and connected to their cycles, we're creating ripples of change for the future.
    • Gentle Yoga & Sound Healing Meditation: Led by Vanessa – to ground, relax and open the afternoon

    • Puberty Education Circle: Guided by Emily – using storytelling, visuals, and open dialogue

    • Herbal Crafting: Create a beautiful flower crown and take home recipe for a soothing bath soak

    • Special Gift Bags: Both mum and daughter receive curated bags with journals and beautiful take-home tools

    • Cacao & Celebration: Close the afternoon with delicious, nourishing treats as we honour this transition

  • Over three nourishing hours, we’ll explore:

    • What puberty and periods are – and what to expect, feel and notice

    • How hormones and the menstrual cycle affect our energy, moods and needs

    • Natural self-care rituals and skin care for tweens

    • Period product options – with a chance to touch, feel and ask questions

    • The power of cycle awareness and body literacy

    • Open Q&A time with Emily – no question too awkward or embarrassing!

This isn’t a lecture, it’s a warm, fun and interactive experience, designed to spark connection, ease curiosity and inspire confidence in both you and your daughter.

    • Girls aged 8 – 12 years, who are beginning to notice changes or are curious about periods and growing up

    • Mums, step-mums, foster mums, aunties, grandmothers and female carers – all are welcome in circle

    • Families wanting a gentle, empowering, and practical introduction to puberty and the menstrual cycle
