Shanti is where you find it again.
Shanti is the Sanskrit word for peace — the deep, unshakeable kind that is not dependent on circumstances. It is also the word chanted three times at the close of yoga practice: a gentle invitation to the body, the mind, and the space around you to simply be still.
This is an intimate luxury retreat for women who are ready to stop white-knuckling their way through life and experience — in the most nourishing, beautiful setting — what it feels like to truly let go. Over one restorative weekend in the lush Southern Highlands of New South Wales, you will rest more deeply than you have in years, eat food that genuinely nourishes you, breathe with intention, and leave carrying something that cannot be taken away.

Shanti is deliberately unhurried. There are no back-to-back sessions, no pressure to be anywhere, no performance required. The weekend is woven around four pillars: nervous system support, yoga and breathwork, seasonal nourishment, and genuine rest — each one chosen because it works, and because you deserve it.

Nervous System Support
Everything about this weekend — the pace, the food, the movement, the space between sessions — is designed to gently guide your nervous system out of its chronic stress state and into something softer. You will leave with a deeper understanding of what your body needs to feel safe, settled, and well.
Yoga & Breathwork
Each morning begins with gentle yoga and breathwork led by Kathryn West of Shellharbour City Yoga — practices chosen specifically for nervous system regulation, not performance. Suitable for every level and every body. If you have never done yoga before, you are welcome here.
Seasonal, Nourishing Food
Every meal across the weekend has been created with your nervous system and hormonal health in mind. Warm, seasonal, whole — food that feels like being genuinely cared for. There is nothing restrictive or performative about the way we eat at Shanti. All dietary needs are warmly accommodated.
Rest — Real, Unearned, Unhurried
Rest is not what happens when everything else is done at Shanti — it is woven into the fabric of the weekend. Time by the pool. An afternoon with nowhere to be. The sauna. The gardens. Long meals with no agenda. This is what genuine restoration feels like, and most of us have forgotten.
The Flower Crown Crafting
A slow, sensory, creative experience on Saturday afternoon. Just your hands, beautiful blooms, and an hour that belongs entirely to you. No experience needed — only presence.
The Queens Table Dinner
Saturday evening closes with a long, candlelit dinner around a beautifully set table. Wearing the flower crown you made. Surrounded by women who have spent the day softening alongside you. This is celebration — the quiet, nourishing kind.
Pool, Sauna & Ice Bath
The venue's pool, sauna, and ice bath are available throughout the weekend for those who wish to use them — one of the most powerful combinations available for nervous system regulation and deep physical restoration. Completely optional, always inviting.
